Recent Indian Springs graduate Misbah Meghani ’24 has been selected to receive a college-sponsored National Merit Scholarship from his college of choice, the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
College-sponsored Merit Scholarship winners are a part of the distinguished group of more than 6,870 high school seniors who will receive National Merit Scholarships for college undergraduate study worth nearly $26 million. Earlier this spring, NMSC announced winners of corporate-sponsored Merit Scholarship awards and National Merit Scholarships.
Misbah was among the more than 3,600 National Merit finalists chosen to receive scholarships financed by 149 higher education institutions, including 77 private and 72 public institutions located in 42 states and the District of Columbia. He was one of four members of the Class of 2024 named National Merit Finalists.
